MEET THE CHEF
Next To Eat is a premier food experience! Founded in 2006 by New Orleans very own Executive Chef Gary Netter. His food captures the glories of different cultures/cuisines by paying tribute to the history and ethnicity of other countries through the incorporation of music, art, food, and fun. His "Next to Eat" vision is executed through partnerships and collaborations with various vendors/ businesses in and around the New Orleans Metro area, and is looking to expand in the near future!
With over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Gary had the privileged of working side by side with chefs like: Paul Prudhomme, John Folse, Emeril Lagasse, Charlie Trotter, Norman Van Akin, and Dickie Brennan, just to name a few. This allowed him to pay close attention to detail, as well as strive for excellence! This experience has also allowed him the honor to cook for two presidents of the United States, multiple celebrities, major festivals, Food Network, NFL/NBA players and many more. Recently Chef Gary had the privileged and honor of working and cooking for the mayor of New Orleans, Mayor Latoya Cantrell. He was active in Mayor Cantrell's pre-election campaign, election campaign, post election campain, inaugural events , and so forth as Executive Chef/ Food Service Coordinator. Today Chef Gary Netter still services Mayor Cantrell's administration as needed.
Next To Eat is locally grown and widely known. Our concept also specializes in all dietary restrictions for cancer patients, chrohn's disease, diabetics, celiacs, gout, recovery & wellness, and more. Menu items can be customized, and included variations such as: Paleo, Alkaline, Gluten free, and Vegan. All meals are created by the chef himself, along with his knowledgeable diverse team.
Chef Gary Netter is consistently working towards growing and flourishing to meet the needs of his customers, as well as helping others grow their businesses from the ground up. With decades of experience in entrepreneurship, Chef Gary has helped individuals, store owners, restaurants, schools, universities, organizations, and 500 companies navigate through the process of becoming a successful business. Chef Gary is dedicated, passionate, and eager to continue to use his skills to help others, while simultaneously driven to expand the quality and quantity of Next To Eat services/locations for all to experience and enjoy!
